These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ART Walkway website, newsletters, membership services, and any other products, services, or features we offer (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. General Use of the Site and Content

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our website and subscribe to our free newsletters.

1.2 Non-Commercial Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all content on ART Walkway is for personal, non-commercial use only.

1.3 Intellectual Property

All content (text, graphics, photographs, videos, templates, and design elements) is owned by ART Walkway or its licensors and protected under Finnish and international copyright laws.

1.4 Prohibited Use

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, scrape, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. You may not misuse the Services or violate applicable laws.

1.5 Data, Metrics & Tracking

We store the data you provide and limited engagement metrics (e.g., opens/clicks) to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your data. 2. Membership & Access

2.1 Account & Eligibility

To access member features (newsletter, members-only posts, exclusive content and tips), you must provide a valid email address and, where applicable, verify your email. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account details and safeguarding access to your inbox.

2.2 Nature of the Service (No Fees)

Membership is currently free. We do not charge subscription fees for access to member content. If we later introduce paid plans, we will provide clear terms and obtain your agreement before any charges apply.

2.3 Term, Suspension & Termination

Membership begins once your email is verified and continues until you cancel. You may cancel anytime via Account → Preferences (/#/portal/account).
We may suspend or terminate membership if:
(a) your email repeatedly bounces or becomes undeliverable;
(b) you unsubscribe from essential member communications required to operate the Service; or
(c) you materially breach these Terms.

2.4 Member Conduct

You may not:

share login or verification links;
resell, scrape, or redistribute members-only content;
use the Services in a manner that violates law, infringes rights, or interferes with others.

2.5 Service Changes

We may update, modify, or remove content or features (including members-only categories) at any time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice via member communications.

3. Email & Member Communications

3.1 Enrollment & Verification

By joining the free membership, you consent to receive emails necessary to operate the Service, including verification messages, account notices, and the member newsletter. Double opt-in is used where applicable.

3.2 What You’ll Receive as a Member

The member newsletter (core to the Service)
Members-only posts and exclusive content/tips
Updates about features, opportunities, and platform changes
Cadence and categories may evolve over time.

3.3 Managing Preferences & Unsubscribing

You can manage preferences or cancel membership at Account → Preferences or via links in our emails. Because the Service is email-based, unsubscribing from member communications ends your membership. You may re-join anytime by signing up again.

3.4 Deliverability Requirement

Membership requires a valid, deliverable email. If messages consistently bounce, are blocked, or you unsubscribe from all member communications, we may suspend or end membership because we cannot deliver the Service.

3.5 Optional Member Submissions

If you voluntarily submit text, images, or links for possible inclusion in editorial content (e.g., quotes, recommendations), you confirm that you have the rights to share them and grant ART Walkway a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to edit, reproduce, distribute, and display them in our publications (email/web) and to promote those publications. You may request we cease future uses; previously published material may remain in archives.

4. Paid Placements

We may offer paid placements by request. Each unit is clearly labeled “Sponsored” and remains fully distinct from independent editorial. Availability is limited; pricing, deliverables, and scheduling are outlined in a separate insertion order or agreement and governed by our Payment Policy. Purchasing a sponsored feature does not influence independent editorial decisions.

Sponsors may submit texts, images, and other assets (“Materials”) for consideration. The Publisher may edit, adapt, crop, or format Materials to meet house style, accessibility requirements, or platform constraints. Sponsors represent and warrant that all Materials are lawful, non-infringing, and fully cleared for publication.

4.3 Approval Process

Each sponsored feature follows a defined workflow:
brief → draft → sponsor review → approval → publication.
Sponsors may request one round of factual corrections or clarifications. Broader rewrites, alternative angles, or substantial structural modifications may be accepted at the Publisher’s discretion and may incur additional fees. Publication is scheduled only after written approval and cleared payment.

4.4 Placement & Visibility

Placement, layout, timing, and prominence of sponsored features are determined solely by the Publisher to preserve editorial rhythm and platform coherence. While reasonable efforts are made to accommodate preferred timing, no specific placement or performance outcome is guaranteed. Sponsored features remain subject to labeling, SEO, and compliance standards.

4.5 Editorial Integrity

We maintain full editorial independence and do not accept sponsorships that conflict with our journalistic standards.

6. Limitation of Liability

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting to our website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
