These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ART Walkway website, newsletters, membership services, and any other products, services, or features we offer (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. General Use of the Site and Content

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our website and subscribe to our free newsletters, and at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase a paid subscription.

1.2 Non-Commercial Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all content on ART Walkway is for personal, non-commercial use only.

1.3 Intellectual Property

All content (text, graphics, photographs, videos, templates, and design elements) is owned by ART Walkway or its licensors and protected under Finnish and international copyright laws.

1.4 Prohibited Use

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, scrape, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. You may not misuse the Services or violate applicable laws.

2. Subscription Services (Artist Playbook, Artist Masterplan, etc.)

2.1 Membership and Access

Account: To access subscription content, you must provide a valid email address and, where applicable, create an account.
Term: Membership begins on the date of payment and continues for the subscription period (monthly, annually, or as stated). It auto-renews unless canceled before renewal.

2.2 Payments

Fees are displayed at checkout and include applicable Finnish VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed by secure third-party providers. By submitting payment details, you authorize us to charge your chosen method.

2.3 Refund Policy

Access to digital content begins immediately after payment is confirmed. Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and the EU Digital Content Directive, you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once delivery begins. We do not offer refunds or credits except where required by law (e.g., defective or unavailable content).
At checkout, you will confirm that you: (a) request immediate access; and (b) understand you lose the right to withdraw once access is granted.

2.4 Member Conduct

You may not:

Share login credentials;
Resell or redistribute member-only content;
Use the Services unlawfully.

2.5 Service Changes

We may update, modify, or remove content or features at any time.

3. Newsletters & the Gallery Network (Opt-in Email)

3.1 Opt-In & Unsubscribe

By subscribing to our free newsletters—including Latest News, Art Market Watch, Collector Signals, Field Notes, How Artists Build, Law & Politics, Next-Gen Investment, Trends & Attention—or the invite-only Gallery Network, you consent to receive emails from us.
We use double opt-in. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in our emails or by contacting us.
Optional preferences may be offered (where available):
□ Quote/spotlight call emails
□ Signals memo
□ Notices about paid placements.

Early quote prompts from editors—send a one-liner; selected replies may appear in coverage (editorial discretion; no guarantee).
Occasional inclusion—features, spotlights, or “What to See” mentions (never guaranteed; editorial discretion).
Signals memo—short, with 2–3 aggregated takeaways and select deadlines (no fluff).
Cadence and categories may change over time.

3.3 No Public Directory / No Free Brand Pages

Joining the Gallery Network does not create a public gallery profile or directory listing. The Network is email-native and lightweight.

3.4 Submissions & License (Quotes/Materials)

If you send text, images, or links in response to prompts or for possible inclusion, you confirm you have rights to share them and grant ART Walkway a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to edit, reproduce, distribute, and display them in our publications (email and web archives) and to promote those publications. You may request we cease future uses; archival copies may persist where already published.

3.5 Data, Metrics & Tracking

We store the data you provide and basic engagement metrics (e.g., opens/clicks) to operate and improve the newsletters. We never sell your data. Our site and emails may use tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and a consent management platform. Managed by Google; IAB TCF-compliant (CMP ID: 300) where applicable. 4. Supported Features, Sponsored Content & Collaborations

4.1 Supported Features (Paid Placements)

We may offer clearly labeled Supported Features (paid placements) by request. Each unit is marked “Supported Feature” and is distinct from independent editorial. Availability is limited; pricing, deliverables, and scheduling are set in a separate insertion order or agreement and governed by our Payment Policy. Purchasing a Supported Feature does not influence independent editorial decisions.

4.2 Sponsored Articles & Collaborations

From time to time, we may publish sponsored content. Sponsored content will be clearly marked. Specific terms and fees are governed by separate agreements and our Payment Policy.

4.3 Editorial Integrity

We maintain editorial independence and do not accept sponsorships that conflict with our journalistic standards.

5. Disclaimers

All information, strategies, and resources are for educational and informational purposes only.

The Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, ART Walkway shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services if you violate these Terms.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting to our website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
