Profile & Contributor Guidelines

These guidelines ensure that every contributor and institution on ART Walkway is represented with professionalism and authenticity.

We ask that all contributor profiles use real names, accurate details, and professional images that reflect you or your institution. Please avoid pseudonyms or unrelated pictures, as these may affect the visibility and integrity of our platform.

Cover Image

Use an image that represents the institution, gallery, or author’s professional identity.
Examples: institution façade, exhibition space, official branding.
Do not upload abstract stock photos or unrelated visuals.

Profile Picture

For institutions: upload the official logo.
For contributors: upload a professional portrait (Gravatar defaults are allowed if appropriate).
No avatars, symbols, or unrelated images.

Email & Password

Staff and contributor emails should remain professional and institutionally tied.
Passwords can be updated by the user under profile settings.

Full Name

Always use the legal name of the institution or the real name of the contributor.
Pseudonyms are not permitted.

Slug

The slug cannot be changed, as it is already indexed in search consoles.
Any edits may break search console data libraries.

Location

Optional field — if filled, must reflect the true location of the institution or contributor.

Bio

Keep bios concise and professional (up to 200 characters).
Write them in an SEO-friendly style, similar to a Google meta description.
Example: “Dedicated to advancing contemporary art through exhibitions, dialogue, and cultural exchange.”

Staff Access Token

Tokens are for authorization and integration only.
They cannot be accessed or published here.
Do not regenerate the token.

Websites and social profiles may be added if they are official and verifiable.
Examples: institutional website, official Instagram, LinkedIn, or Twitter/X.
Do not add personal or pseudonymous accounts.

Contributors / Critics / Scholars

Contributors must publish under their real, legal name.
Bios should describe their expertise clearly and briefly.
Example: “Art historian specializing in modernist cross-cultural movements.”
Profile photos must be professional portraits.

Failure to follow these guidelines — including the use of pseudonyms, non-compliant images, or inaccurate profile data — may result in suspension of the profile without prior notice.
